Mission Impossible 2 Review

If there is a series that turns out sequels so wildly different from its predecessor in terms of style it has to be the Mission Impossible franchise. This sequel to Mission Impossible, Mission Impossible 2 was released four years after the first one with Tom Cruise returning as the lead star and helmed by a new director John Woo. This film is so different in tone and pacing from the first one which creates some mixed results. The original film was primarily an espionage film, however, the sequel is a straight up action-packed spy film with slow-motion sequences weaved in. The film follows Ethan Hunt as he is tasked with the mission of recruiting the lovely Nyah, a thief to join his team in order to seduce her ex-boyfriend Rouge IMF agent Sean Ambrose and stop his deadly plan.   Have you ever been stuck in summer school before? Well, that is what the 1987 picture Summer School starring Mark Harmon is all about and more.Summer School follows Freddy Shoop played by Mark Harmon, a high school gym teacher, who is tasked with teaching remedial high school English over the summer. At first, Shoop copes with not getting to go on vacation with his twenty-one-year-old girlfriend by just going exclusively on “field trips” with his students until his boss gets wind of it. Then the fun and games are brought to a halt and he is fired unless he can get all his students to pass an upcoming important English standardized test.  Summer School may not have a pitch-perfect script, but it is one wild ride that delivers the laughs and the emotional beats that you need to deliver a fantastically entertaining motion picture.     “Red Alert!” You’re on notice that the action-thriller Red Notice starring Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, Gal Gadot, and Ryan Reynolds will be premiering worldwide on Netflix on November 12th. The Rock made the announcement over his social media communicating his enthusiasm at sharing his first-ever streaming movie with the already built-in global Netflix audience of 205 million + Netflix subscribers. According to Deadline, the story of Red Notice will find The Rock playing the FBI’s top profiler as he hunts down two rival criminals.
